Hike in Phoenix incorporates all levels from beginner to intermediate to experienced. Whatever fits into your hiking experience, style and physical endurance will be matched. We even customize hikes for wheelchair users! Hiking can be fun for everyone! Call us for details and to set up a hike for your specific requirements. Why should I use a guided hiking service?
Your safety is our number one concern. You, our valued guest, are made aware of what is needed for an unforgettable and safe guided hiking experience. While our trail guides know where each trail leads, its length and its difficulty level (sometimes referred to the challenge or stamina level), you probably do not. Depend on us to know. And that’s exactly what we do! The trails we use are in the unforgiving Sonoran Desert. Alone, a trip along any of them can be dangerous. Water is not considered a luxury item on our hikes; it is a necessity. The air here lacks moisture. As such it absorbs it from whatever source is available. In this case we’re referring to you! Whether you are on a hike or just lounging poolside, at anytime you can become dehydrated rapidly without even being aware of it.There are way too many on-foot and helicopter rescues just about every week performed by the fire department. More times than not, these rescues are due to people going it alone or venturing out unprepared.
Each and every trail guide on our staff is familiar with the ins and outs of the trails. That translates to knowing where you may come see some of our native flora and fauna and to take some great photos with breathtaking views. Alone, you may miss those opportune spots.
