THE OLD PUEBLO GUIDED HIKE: OUR STANDARD HALF DAY EXCURSION (Approx. 3- 4 hours)

A shorter, moderate guided hike with a panoramic view of the city for 2 hours. Flat $60 per person. Minimum 3 people on the same reservation. No teen nor senior discounts on these short guided hikes. Reservations should be made at least a 24 hours in advance. We realize that it is not always possible and we’ll work with you to get you scheduled on a trail while you are on the phone with us. Full payment is due at the time of booking. Tour itinerary, times of day/days of hikes, choice of trail & prices vary seasonally and are subject to change. Reservations are accepted by phone between 8AM-8PM AZ time, 7 days. Arizona does not change time. Closed Christmas & New Years Eve/Day. Note: we leave the trail heads in the mornings & afternoons daily. However the exact departure time will be confirmed to you via email or telephone shortly after your reservation is made.
For Travel Agents/Concierge (& front line hotel staff) only: there is a provision on the bottom of the information form as you make a reservation for your guest(s) to add your name, property, address, city, state, ZIP code, area code & phone number + IATA#. PAYMENT METHODS, SATISFACTION GUARANTEE/REFUND POLICY, CANCELLATION POLICY & HOURS OF ACTIVE SCHEDULED HIKING OPERATION (CLICK HERE)
PAYMENT METHODS: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, UnionPay or by mail via Bank Money Order or Cashier’s Check accepted. Mailed in payments must arrive ten days prior to your scheduled hike date. (Any information given by you for booking guided hike tours will not be used for any other purpose than to secure your reservation & payment and for us to communicate with you regarding your hike and experience.)
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE/REFUND POLICY: Refunds will be honored at 70% of rate paid. Fees for the use of our hotel to trail transportation and special packages are excluded from refunds. For whatever reason why you may not be happy with our service and wish a refund, please call our executive office at 516 799-2273 to confirm this notification the same day as your hike. Please make certain that you let the office know the name of your guide, along with the date/day & time of the scheduled hike and your confirmation number. Allow up to 72 hours for processing.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you want to cancel your reservation(s), you must call our office immediately since certain cancellation fees may apply.* Cancellation Fee Schedule: 50% if less than 24 hours on the guided hike fee. There is no cancellation fee for the transportation component before 24 hours. If you cancel with less than 24 hours, a 50% transportation cancellation fee will also be assessed if you originally reserved with transportation.
*In the event of inclement weather, which may include severe heat during summer, Hike In Tucson may cancel the hike. You have the option of receiving a full refund or rescheduling. Allow up to 72 hours for refund processing. You will be notified by telephone, text or e-mail. In cases like this, it is important for us to have early morning contact numbers for you. You will be asked to read and sign our Liability/Waiver Agreement & Desert Safety tips/Trail Etiquette form before starting. Please follow your guide and stay on the trail at all times.
HOURS OF ACTIVE SCHEDULED HIKING OPERATION
Hiking hours: 7 days, Sunrise – Dusk (excluding inclement weather, which includes severe heat). Once you confirm a hike, you can change the date and time and even the type of tour you want penalty free. However, there may be an additional charge for an upgrade and the type of hike you are changing to. Such changes are subject to availability.
After you reserve your guided hike, directions will be sent eMail or fax to the trailhead or easy-to-find meeting place. It is our guest’s responsibility to be at the trailhead at the time specified on the confirmation. Due to the very early hour that their hiking day begins, the trail guide may not be available via e-mail or telephone. We leave on time. Each person on the hike depends upon everyone else to be there at the specified time, so please be punctual.
